Brother John Martin Sahajananda, a Benedictine monk who is strongly influenced by Father Bede Griffith, is the spiritual director and Bede’s successor at Saccidananda Ashram in India. As a member of the Camaldolese order, he is frequently invited to give lectures, retreats, and seminars and to share his unique vision of Christianity for the third millennium. His interests lie in a form of spirituality which shows the unifying elements among the religions and also the uniqueness of each spiritual tradition. But it also opens to a spirituality that goes beyond the religious boundaries.
