Bible 101

BIBLE 101 is a bird's-eye view introduction to the Bible. It is a prerequisite for future in-depth Bible study courses. Are you new to the Bible? This course is designed for you. Each module covers a section of the Bible, covering its books, summaries of the main storylines and key figures of each book, and insight into biblical exergesis (the art of hearing what the Spirit is saying to us as we read the Bible). In addition to the lecture presentation, each module contains additional links and resources, including a prayer guide, meditation questions, and select YouTube videos to enjoy. As a result of the course, the Bible will become demystified and thus serve as a wonderful library of Jewish and early Christian writings that offer us perspective in our religious and spiritual lives.
